# User Groups

User Groups currently only work in combination with the [Tasks](/administrator-guide/general/features/task-inbox.md) feature. Please make sure to enable it in the [Features](/administrator-guide/general/features.md) section.

Tasks can be assigned to a specific *user group*, and/or to an individual user within the group, as defined by the administrator. User groups are easily defined once the individuals have been identified within space.vars.PRODUCT\_NAME.
Individual users can be added or removed using the **Manage Members** button in the toolbar of the **Members** tab. This opens the following dialog:
When a request has been submitted, and the task is picked up by the assignee, the assignee can then reassign the task, to another user or a group of users as previously defined:
